Spain 2014: A two-year (2013-2014) trial in Spain showed that using BioAktiv for Plants could increase the yield alfalfa by 15%.  There were four cuts of the alfalfa grass in 2013. Zaragoza 2012: BioAktiv Ibera SL, the BioAktiv distributor in Spain, did a trial on the use of BioAktiv for Plants to alleviate the fungal infection problem on almond trees in La Almunia de Doña Godina, Zaragoza, Spain. They treated 10 almond trees with BioAktiv on 23 March 2012 and found the effect positive. They would repeat the treatment in spring 2013. [Repeat]

Czech Republic: Trials on Spring Barley at a Selgen Field for Five Years

Úhřetice 2018: The Czech BioAktiv distributor, BioAktiv CZ, conducted trials at spring barley at a field of Selgen a.s. for five consecutive years since 2014. BioAktiv for Plants consistently increased the yields of barley for all five seasons. Convinced of the positive results, Tomáš ”Bláha, Selgen station head at Úhřetice, said, “I recognise BioAktiv for Plants as a product whose effectiveness on spring barley is visible at first sight.” [Report]

Czech Republic: Trials on Spring Barley and Corn by ADW Agro

Okříšky 2018: ADW Agro conducted trials on spring barley and corn in 2018. They sowed the Malz variety of barley after ploughing and applying 200 kg/ha NPK fertiliser on 5 April 2018. On 2 May they applied 200 kg/ha urea and 3 May, 1 kg/ha BioAktiv for Plants (PlantAktiv) to the test plot, when the plants were at BBCH 25-27 (five to seven tillers detectable). The BioAktiv-treated plot yielded 6.35 tonnes/ha, while untreated plot yielded 5.91 tonnes/ha, an increase of 440 kg/ha or 7.4%. [Report]

Germany: BioAktiv Trials on Wheat and Spring Barley in Bavaria

Bavaria 2017: Trials using BioAktiv Professional Plants on wheat and spring barley by farmers in Bavaria were successful. The variety of wheat was Leandrus and that of barley was GRT Planet. [Photos]

Germany: BioAktiv Trial at Sven Krienitz’s Winter Barley Field

Burgsdorf 2015: Sven Krienitz sowed his 5-ha field with KWS Tenor variety of winter barley on 25 September 2015. He treated part of the field with 1 kg/ha BioAktiv Professional Plants in the fall when three new leaves appeared and 0.5 kg/ha in the spring. Inspection on 28 April 2016 showed that the treated plants grew much stronger than the untreated plants. Harvest on 4 July indicated that the treated plot yielded 880 kg/ha compared to 860 kg/ha yielded by the untreated plot. [Report]

Queensland 2001: A trial in a bean field in Queensland showed that seeds treated with BioAktiv for Plants had a 98% germination rate. The treated plants grew large healthy leaves, strong resilient stems, and abundant flowers and beans, resulting in a good even crop overall. [Report]

A Study by the Dresden University of Technology

Germany 2000: The Dresden University of Technology conducted a study on the effect of BioAktiv for Plants on various crops from 1988 to 2000. The research team sprayed 1 kg/ha BioAktiv solution onto the plants when they were 10-40 cm tall. The bean plants treated with BioAktiv had 18.65% higher yield of husks (for bean husk pillow) than those not treated. [Report]

Broccoli

Spain: BioAktiv Quickens Harvest of Broccoli

Spain 2012: In one of the two field trails on broccoli in Marcia, the yields of broccoli fields treated with 2 kg/ha, 1 kg/ha BioAktiv for Plants and not treated were 19,563, 19,306 and 18,022 kg/ha respectively. In the other trial, for a harvest weight of at least 450 g per flower bug with stem, using BioAktiv shortened two days of harvest time. [Report]

Netherlands: BioAktiv Gives 8.3% More Broad Beans and an ROI of 4.5

Meijel 2013: De Schakel Growers Association did a trial in their broad bean (field bean) field in Visvijverweg. They sprayed 1 kg/ha BioAktiv for Plants in 300 litres of water to about 2 ha of the 5.35 ha field was on 19 April and 17 May 2013. The broad bean plants sprayed BioAktiv had higher biomass in the plants, pods and beans than the untreated plants. The BioAktiv-treated plots had 8.3% higher yield which gave an ROI of 4.5. [Report]

Germany: A Study by the Dresden University of Technology

Germany 2000: The Dresden University of Technology conducted a study on the effect of BioAktiv for Plants on various crops from 1988 to 2000. The research team sprayed 1 kg/ha BioAktiv solution onto the plants when they were 10-40 cm tall. The Brussels sprout plants treated with BioAktiv had 22.6% and 10.6% higher wet and dry green mass respectively than those not treated. [Report]

Coriander

Romania: BioAktiv Improves the Health and Yield of Coriander

Bujoreni 2007: Green Future in East, BioAktiv business partner in Romania, reported in October 2007 their successful application of BioAktiv for Plants in a coriander field in South Romania. Coriander plants treated with BioAktiv had 15% higher yield despite the drought condition. Czech Republic: Trials on Spring Barley and Corn by ADW Agro

Okříšky 2018: ADW Agro conducted trials on spring barley and corn in 2018. They ploughed and applied 200 kg/ha NPK fertiliser on 5 April 2018 and sowed the KMS Agro Vitallo variety of corn on 26 April. On 2 May they applied 200 kg/ha urea and 18 May, 1 kg/ha BioAktiv for Plants (PlantAktiv) to the test plot, when the plants were after BBCH 15 (five leaves unfolded). The BioAktiv-treated plants had an average height of 259 cm and the untreated ones had 247 cm. [Report]

Australia: Second BioAktiv Trial at a Rugby Farm Contract Sweet Corn Field

Grantham 2018: Rugby Farm Pty Ltd conducted a second similar trial at the same sweet corn field as before (see the next below). During this trial period from December 2017 to March 2018, the field experienced the high temperatures of 45oC. Despite enduring the high levels of heat and stress, their results still showed that, with just one application, BioAktiv for Plants significantly improved yields by promoting healthier plants with increased photosynthetic activity and stronger immunity. The BioAktiv-treated plants had higher yield with higher cob weight and sugar content, and better ability to cope with heliosis and stress. [Report]

Australia: First BioAktiv Trial at a Rugby Farm Contract Sweet Corn Field

Grantham 2017: Rugby Farm Pty Ltd conducted a trial at a sweet corn field of their contract grower Darrel Farms. They applied 1 kg BioAktiv for Plants in 330 litres of water to 1 ha of the field and left the other 1 ha not treated. Their results showed that, with just one application, BioAktiv for Plants significantly improved yields by promoting healthier plants with increased photosynthetic activity and stronger immunity. Germany: BioAktiv Trial at Uwe Eilenberger’s Silage Maize Field

Auswnhain 2017: Uwe Eilenberger sowed his 13.2-ha field with Busti variety of silage maize on 16 May 2017. On 9 June, 5.2 ha of the field received 1 kg/ha BioAktiv Professional Plants. Observations on 15 September showed that the treated plants were about 20 cm taller and stronger had darker green and less dry leaves than the untreated plants. This was because the treated soil was looser, had more humus and earthworms and retained water better. On average the treated plants produced maize ears 2-3 cm longer than the untreated ones did. Germany: BioAktiv Trial at Mario Vogel’s Silage Maize Field

Auswnhain 2017: Mario Vogel sowed his 12.88-ha field with Walterino variety of silage maize on 12 May 2017. Observations on 25 August showed that the treated plants overcame the lack of water in May as they grew more extensive roots systems than the untreated plants. The BioAktiv treatment had a very positive effect on the soil. [Report]

Germany: BioAktiv Trial at Agrarproduktion Rösa GmbH Silage Maize Field

Muldestausee 2017: Agrarproduktion Rösa GmbH sowed an 8-ha field with Kandis variety of silage maize on 2 May 2017. Half of the field received 1 kg/ha BioAktiv Professional Plants on 1 June. Six weeks later, the treated plot grew taller and stronger plants with stronger roots and its soil had more earthworms than the untreated plot. Observations on 22 August showed that treated plants grew extensive root systems, while the untreated ones hardly grew any roots. Germany: A Study by Kriebitzsch Agricultural Cooperative

Kriebitzsch 1997: The coop applied the same amount of fertilisation throughout a field with an area of 111.22 ha where they sowed corn seeds from 22 to 24 April 1997 on that field.  On 20 May 1997, they sprayed herbicide mixed with 1kg/ha BioAktiv for Plants on 8.19 ha of the field and the remaining 102.93 ha without the BioAktiv treatment. Brazil: A Study by Impar Consultoria no Agronegócio

Barreiras 2011: Agricultural consultant Impar Consultoria no Agronegócio conducted a study at a cotton field in Brazil. Despite the region had only half the 0.8 cmol/dm3 soil Mg level critical for cotton growth in Brazil, BioAktiv for Plants still increased the cotton yield by 5.8%. The yield increase might have come from the secondary benefits of BioAktiv. [Report]

Eggplant

Australia: High Eggplant Yield with BioAktiv

Moore Park 2001: After applying 500 g BioAktiv per acre (1.2 kg/ha) on an eggplant field, the plants grew large leaves, thick and robust stems and boughs, and a strong and well-spread root system. Flowers were abundant which turned into many fruits (up to 11 fruits per bush) with very little drop-off. As a result, there was a high yield of 10.8 tonnes per acre (26.7 tonnes per hectare). Garlic

China: BioAktiv Raises Garlic Yields

Weishi 2014: A garlic field in Weishi County, Kaifeng City, Henan Province, China did a trial on the use of BioAktiv for Plants in 2014. A half of four-mu garlic field was treated with BioAktiv for Plants three and four months after planting. The farmers harvested garlic leaf sheaths in the middle of April and garlic bulbs in the end of May. Germany: BioAktiv Increases the oOe of Grape

Steigra 2007: A study on BioAktiv for Plants in a vineyard in Steigra, Germany showed that applying 500 g/ha BioAktiv during the fruiting stage, 2.5-3 months before harvesting, increased the quantity of grapes produced; applying another 500 g/ha when the grapes starting to mature, one month before harvesting, increased the ripeness (quality) of the grapes by 2-3 oOe (degrees Oechsle). Australia: BioAktiv Used at Placid Hills Turf, Grantham, Queensland

Grantham 2020: Mark Taylor, “We tried BioAktiv magnesium sulphate on our winter green couch when ground cover was at around 60%, and again at 80% around 6 weeks later. We noticed excellent lateral growth in holes through our fields where the grass wasn’t growing across due to the dry conditions (2019 & 2020). This good lateral growth across these areas, the grass had grown in tighter when we harvested.” [Report]

Netherlands: A Trial on Grass by Heemskerk Diary

Beringe 2019: Heemskerk Diary conducted a trial in a grass farm in Beringe town with three products, BioAktiv Professional Plants; AGLEV® SI 100, a porous granular attapulgite clay), and SOIL-SET® containing specific bacterial metabolites and natural enzymatic compounds. They applied Aglev on 31 October 2018, sowed Vital Grass on 1 November, and fertilisers on 3 December. Measures on 8 February and 12 March 2019 showed that the BioAktiv-treated plots had higher weight per area (g/m3) than the untreated plots; and plots treated with Aglev, Soil-Set and BioAktiv had higher weight per area than those treated with only Aglev and Soil-Set. USA: A Study by the Rutgers School of Environmental and Biological Sciences

New Brunswick 2014: Visual observations at certain times during the experimental period suggested good density and turf vigor in response to the BioAktiv treatment. The BioAktiv treatment and the untreated tended to have higher grass tissue N concentrations. Tissue N concentrations generally exhibit a positive with grass color. [Report]

Kohlrabi

Germany: A Study by the Dresden University of Technology

Dresden 2000: The Dresden University of Technology conducted a study on the effect of BioAktiv for Plants on various crops from 1988 to 2000. The research team sprayed 1 kg/ha BioAktiv solution onto the plants when they were 10-40 cm tall. The kohlrabi plants treated with BioAktiv grew more evenly, survived dry weather better, had 13.6% bigger mean diameter of bunch, had 18.2% higher mean weight of bunch, and looked healthier than those not treated. Australia: BioAktiv Produces High Quality Lettuce

Bundaberg 2001: This was the second trial on a lettuce field. The farmers soaked seedlings in the BioAktiv solution before planting. They applied additional doses 14 and 28 days after sowing. All seedlings planted were eventually harvested and replanting was unnecessary. The entire crop reached maturity at the same time. No diseases on crop were evident, with little grub damage or affect. Australia: BioAktiv Alleviates Diseases of Lilium Plants

Bundaberg 2001: Grower T Morton and Cleve Wood started a trial using BioAktiv for Plants on 1,200 lilium plants on 9 March 2001. Chlorotinea physerium infected a row of them. After the BioAktiv treatment the affected plants turned better. They treated more rows of lilium on 18 May 2001. Botrytis elliptica, a common disease of lilium plants, infected some of the plants. Again after spraying BioAktiv solution on 21 May the affected plants turned better. [Report]

Mirabelle Plum

France: BioAktiv Improves Yield and Disease Resistance of Mirabelle Plum

Lorraine 2008: Trial results from Lorraine region of France, the world’s capital for Mirabelle plums, indicated that BioAktiv for Plants thickened the edible fleshy part of the plums and improved the plants’ resistance to diseases and aphids. The yield from 200 m2 of the BioAktiv-treated field, with 4,500 plants, was 758 kg, hence 5.94 plants per kg onions. Spain: BioAktiv Increases Pak Choi Yield

Lleida 2011: A harvest on a pak choi field in November 2011 in Lleida, Spain showed that pak choi plants treated with BioAktiv for Plants weighed 27 kg per 40 plants while untreated ones weighed 25 kg per 40 plants. [Report]

France: BioAktiv Enhances Growth of Paprika Plants

Arles 2012: A study on using BioAktiv for Plants on Paprika in France started with the applying 1 kg/ha BioAktiv after planting and 1.5 kg/ha after about four weeks. Later on 16 April 2012, paprika plants treated with BioAktiv were 8-10 cm taller and bore more and larger fruits than the untreated plants. [Report]

Australia: BioAktiv Gives More Picks of Peas

Bundaberg 2001: With only one application of BioAktiv for Plants, a snow pea farmer in Queensland had 18 picks, while the average was 14 picks. The total marketable peas picked was 12,000 kg compared to the 6,000 kg in 2000, which was an extremely hot year. Osnabrück 2014: The Hochschule Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences completed a four-year study on the use of BioAktiv for Plants on organic potatoes in 2014. Goldenstedt 2012: Aloys Feldhaus conducted trials at his four fields planted with Bintje, Belana and Hansa varieties of potato. He treated parts of the four fields with BioAktiv for Plants. For comparison, he pulled out six plants (about 2 m2) from each the treated and untreated plots of each field on 27 July and 9 August 2012. Czech Republic: A Study by Czech University of Life Sciences Plague

Újezd 2014: BioAktiv CZ commissioned Czech University of Life Sciences Plague to study on winter oilseed rape with five BioAktiv for Plants (PlantAktiv) dosage plans of 0, 0.5 or 1 kg/ha applied in autumn 2013 and/or spring 2014 in four replicates. BioAktiv-treated plots gave higher yields and better quality seeds than the untreated plots. The 1 kg-autumn-and-1 kg-spring plan gave the highest yield. Chotětov: 2012: Agriculturist Josef Hložek applied BioAktiv for Plants to 350 ha of his 400-ha winter oilseed rape crop. The plot treated with BioAktiv grew stronger root systems that better absorbed moisture and nitrogen fertiliser. Bernartice: 2012: ZOD Branice split their winter oilseed rape field into three plots. Skramouš: 2012: Farmer Petr Mikeš split his winter oilseed rape crop into three plots. The control plot had full fertilisation but no BioAktiv for Plants, the second plot had 50% N but with BioAktiv, the third plot had full fertilisation and BioAktiv. Romania: Wheat and Rapeseed Showcased at Visit

Romania 2008: Representatives from BioAktiv GmbH, Germany visited their partner in Romania, Green Future in East SRL in June 2008. The visitors checked out on site the results of applying BioAktiv for Plants to wheat and rapeseed fields. The performance of the BioAktiv product was clearly evident. Brazil 2015: A study on BioAktiv of Plants on wet rice cultivation done in Brazil involved both the direct seeding method and traditional method. The study revealed that BioAktiv increased the yield of the direct seeding method by 7.3% and the traditional method by 7.65%, giving an average 7.49% increase in yield for both methods. [Report]

Germany: A Trial at a Winter Rye Field of Landgut GmbH Staritz

Dröschkau 2018: Landgut GmbH Staritz sowed Bono variety of winter rye in a field on 24 October 2017. They applied 1 kg/ha BioAktiv Professional Plants to 27 ha of the 43.4 ha field on 20 March 2018. Observations five weeks later showed that plants treated with BioAktiv were noticeably darker green and had stronger root growth. Fazenda Vilanova 2013: BioAktiv Brasil did a study on the use of BioAktiv for Plants on ryegrass in a cattle grazing farm in Brazil. They carried out three cuts monthly and compared the yields of a ryegrass plot treated with BioAktiv and a plot not treated and found that BioAktiv increased the yield of ryegrass. Germany: A Trial at the Sugar Beet Field of Agrarproduktion Rösa Cooperative

Rösa 2017: Agrarproduktion Rösa Cooperative sowed the Danicia variety of sugar beet in a field on 6 April 2017. They applied 1 kg/ha BioAktiv Professional Plants to 8.1 ha of the 28.4 ha sugar beet field on 1 June. Observations on 14 July showed that the BioAktiv-treated plants were larger, stronger and darker green than the untreated ones. The soil of the treated plot retained more water and looser; and the turnips were 5-7 cm larger with more evenly sized bulbs. The differences were more obvious when observed on 28 September. Australia: Sugarcane Farmer Happy to Use BioAktiv

Australia 2001: Just sprayed a billet with BioAktiv solution then planted it, eight months later, it grew into a sugarcane stick 10 feet (10 m) tall and 1½ inches (38 mm) through. Brix tests at 10:00AM revealed that the sugar content at cane bottom was 20%, at knee high, 20.5%, at waist high, 20.2%, head high, 18% and at 10 feet high 11.5%, giving an average sugar content of 18.4%. Spain 2011: BioAktiv Ibera SL of Spain did field trials using BioAktiv for Plants on numerous crops in 2011. Germany: A Study by the Dresden University of Technology

Dresden 2000: The Dresden University of Technology conducted a study on the effect of BioAktiv for Plants on various crops from 1988 to 2000. The research team sprayed 1 kg/ha BioAktiv solution onto the plants when they were 10-40 cm tall. The tobacco plants treated with BioAktiv had 7.31% higher green mass and higher resistance to ozone at the ground level than those not treated. [Report]

Spain: BioAktiv Gives More and Larger Tomatoes

Almería 2012: BioAktiv Ibera SL, the BioAktiv distributor in Spain, did a trial on the use of BioAktiv for Plants on tomato plants in Almería. BioAktiv-treated plants grew more lush and taller and produced 10-12% more fruits. Their fruits were more homogenous, bigger, sweeter and firmer. Soil treated with BioAktiv was softer and looser. South Africa: BioAktiv to Grow Tomato is Part of ZZ2’s Natuurboerdery®

South Africa 2009: ZZ2, a large South African farming conglomerate, used its own approach to agriculture called Natuurboerdery®. ZZ2, a world’s largest tomato producer, produced about 160,000 tonnes of tomato a year. In 2009, a trial with four different dosages of BioAktiv for Plants on tomato plants revealed that all dosages of BioAktiv gave higher yields than the untreated plants. Treated plants also yielded earlier. The tops of the treated plants grew more evenly and vigorously, and bore larger fruits. France: World’s Largest Tomato Producers Uses BioAktiv

France 2007: One of the largest tomato producers in the world used BioAktiv for Plants in their three-hectare greenhouse in southern France. After alternatively applying 1 kg/ha BioAktiv solution to the plants’ leaves or root systems every 14 days, the operator claimed that the tomato plants had healthier growth, higher resistance to fungi, higher yield and tastier and more even size fruits. Australia: BioAktiv Revitalises Tomato Seedlings

Bundaberg 2001: Two weeks before planting, farmers treated their tomato field with 1 kg/ha BioAktiv. Before planting, they soaked 60 seedlings in BioAktiv solution (one teaspoon in 20 litres of water). Finding four unhealthy seedlings the next day, they pour BioAktiv solution on them.  A week later the four plants caught up with the healthy ones. Germany: A Trial at a Winter Wheat Field of Roitzsch Agricultural Cooperation

Roitzsch 2019: Roitzsch Agricultural Cooperation conducted a trial on a winter wheat field using BioAktiv products to promote soil microbial activities in countering the adverse effects of prolonged droughts in 2018 and 2019. The coop divided the 15-ha field into three 5-ha plots and tilled the middle and a side 5-ha plots on 3 April 2009. They treated the tilled side plot with 1 kg/ha BioAktiv Professional Plants on 10 April. On 8 May, aerial photos showed that the treated plants grew significantly denser. They also observed that the treated plants developed stronger root systems. On 17 May, they added 1 litre/ha BioAktiv Professional Vita Full Complex (Plant Booster) to the treated plot. On 28 May, they again found that treated plants grew stronger roots, had no fungal growths, their sap had higher sugar content indicating healthier growth, and produced more eyes of grains. Germany: A Trial on Winter Wheat by Werner Winterfeld Agricultural Services

Roßleben 2011: BioAktiv GmbH commissioned Werner Winterfeld Agricultural Services to conduct a trial on wheat in the winter of 2010. The trial involved two varieties of wheat, Akteur and Pamier, with test and control plots in three replicates. The test plots received BioAktiv for Plant twice, 1 kg/ha in autumn (EC 12) and 0.5 kg/ha in spring (EC 21). Malaysia: BioAktiv Works Well on Yam Bean

Bidor 2009: BioAktiv Far East carried out a trial on the use of BioAktiv for Plants on yam bean in a farming town Bidor in Malaysia. The farmers sowed the root crop, two lines on a roll, on 30 January 2009. They applied about 40 g of BioAktiv on four 125 m-long rolls (about 400 m²) of yam bean plants on 8 February and 24 May. The rest of about 20 rolls, without any BioAktiv treatment, served as control.
