Czech Republic: Water Pool in Šumava National Park
Czech Republic 2012: A 120 m3 water storage pool, owned by Jan Havlík, received of a dose of 1 kg BioAktiv for Water on 21 May 2012. Three days later, the water surface of the pool, located in the Šumava National Park in the municipality of Chlístov, became clearer. The clearing process continued and completed within three weeks. China: Treatment in a Selected Part of a Sewage Water Canal in Shanghai
China 2008: BioAktiv GmbH, Germany in collaboration with Meridian Technologies, Dubai; Rusky Holdings, Shanghai; and Technical University Shanghai conducted a 104-day study on treatment in a selected part of a sewage water canal in Shanghai. The treatment, using BioAktiv for Water, BioAktiv for Sewage and Akeron, a photocatalytic product, improved all indicators BOD, COD, DO, T(N) and T(P). [Report]
Malaysia: The Bintangor River, a Tributary of the Sarawak River, Kuching
Malaysia 2007: “We’re putting in serious effects to clean up the river, and with the technology, I believe the dirty water will be a thing of the past,” Sarawak Housing Minister Abang Johari told the reporters after witnessing the cleaning of the Bintangor River in Kuching, Sarawak on 6 December 2006. After using 229 gallons of AquaClean ACF32 and 170 kg of BioAktiv for Water, on 1 January 2007, the minister commented in the local press that the rehabilitation of the river was a success. [Report]
Vietnam: Binh Quoi Tourist Village
Vietnam 2006: A local company, TST, treated a pond in Binh Quoi Tourist Village, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam with two AquaClean microbial products and BioAktiv for Water. Germany: Algae Treatment at the Pond by the Moritzburg Castle
Germany 2006: The 3,000-m3 pond by the Moritzburg Castle in Zeitz received a treatment of 5 g BioAktiv for Water per m3 of pond water during May-July 2006. Algae was floating in patches in the water and covered the pond bottom before the treatment. Two weeks after the treatment, the algae patches reduced in size and there was no new algae growth. Four weeks later, no algae was visible in the pond. Seven weeks later, the pond bottom starting to be visible. Four months later, the pond bottom was clearly visible. [Photos]
